A proof gallery is a gallery of semi-edited digital images I deliver to a client after select sessions, to allow them to select which images end up fully edited and delivered in their final gallery. Check your package, contract, or rates brochure to see if a proof gallery is included with your session.

** I do not shoot fully nude boudoir.

Do you shoot families?

The best way to get a family portrait session with me is to watch my social media for mini session dates. Since my schedule stays fairly full between my commercial clients, all other sessions are subject to my availability and mini sessions provide the best opportunity for those other sessions. For more info on what mini sessions are and when they happen, click on the button below.

Do I need a Headshot?

If you have a job, then the answer is probably “yes”.

For all photographers, realtors, designers, creatives, models, business professionals and business owners: Having updated portraits + headshots is essential to presenting a professional image to your clients. For websites, social media, and other platforms every business person and creative professional should have headshots they are confident with to represent themselves and their business. I offer both studio + lifestyle portraits, we can make a plan to set up a shoot that will best represent yourself and your business. Session rates include a proof gallery, and as many (or as few) images as you need. (that way you aren’t paying for a 30 image gallery if you will only use 5 images for your purposes).

Don’t use a selfie or a wedding photo as a headshot (yes, I’ve seen selfies printed on business cards, and “grooms” on linked-in profile pics)!

Let’s get together and refresh your professional image so your potential clients can view you with your “best foot forward”.

DON’T FORGET YOUR TEAM! If you have people who work with you that also represent your brand and company, invest in cohesive headshots for everyone who’s photo is displayed on your digital or brick and mortar platforms. *For companies in need of uniform + cohesive headshots for your website + other uses, I have special rates for shooting multiple headshots in one shoot.

How far in advance should I schedule my pre-wedding photos?

While I am limiting wedding day bookings, I am still loving to be able to shoot portrait sessions for brides! (engagements, bridals, boudoir).

For Engagements I recommend shooting a minimum of 8 weeks before your wedding date, and for Bridals a minimum of 4 weeks prior to your date if you want prints ready to display on your wedding day. *Keep in mind that processing time for pre-wedding sessions is 14 days after client selects are made from the proof gallery, and you will require time to print.

**Rush processing is an option depending on Summer’s current workload and availability. A fee will be assessed for faster turn around times

**also if the timing works out for you, “family minis” can be a great opportunity for engagement or save-the-date photos

HOW SOON SHOULD I BOOK my wedding WITH YOU?

Due to my commercial work schedule, I am currently limiting wedding day bookings to a very small amount (taking as many engagement, bridal and boudoir sessions as I can though)! I accept bookings up to 1 year in advance for wedding dates.

As far as timing goes, it absolutely depends on the date; for prime wedding season dates (May-August) The sooner you can get your date reserved the better. contact me to check the availability of your date!

** For portrait sessions (engagements, bridals, boudoir) last minute bookings are often available, though I would recommend contacting me at least 2 weeks prior to the week you would like to shoot.

How much wedding coverage do I need?

Every wedding is unique and requires unique coverage. My minimum wedding day coverage is for up to 5 hours, which generally covers Ceremony + Reception depending on the specific timeline and itinerary for the day. For a more complete documenting of your day (getting ready photos prior to ceremony, etc) You will need more coverage for your big day (6-8 hours)!
